June/July Transfer Program Information--Parents
Welcome to the Spartan Family! We are so excited that your student has chosen Michigan State University! We know how important it is for parents, the university, and the student to work together. For these reasons, we invite you to attend the Transfer Parent Orientation Program (POP).
We strongly discourage bringing small children/siblings since parent orientation is not designed for a young audience.
During POP, you will have the opportunity to:
- Acquaint yourself with various aspects of the university’s academic, residential, and student life
- Visit with members of our faculty, administrative staff, and the MSU student body
- Receive an enriched sense of sharing in your student’s college life
