NSO Webinar Series

Spring 2023 Webinars Coming Soon!

The following content represents curated information from Summer/Fall of 2022. Feel free to view the recordings and content below at your own leisure.

The NSO Webinar series offers content on a variety of topics that may be important as a student transitions into the MSU community. We encourage students, families, and supporters to watch them together, if possible! These webinars are held leading up to the beginning of the semester, on weekdays and weekend days, in the hopes of finding a convenient time for you. We will be using platform captioning for these webinars too. For additional accommodations, or questions about captioning, please email nso@msu.edu at least two weeks prior to the webinar of need.

Can’t make it to a webinar? We’ll record them for you! Recordings will be available once they are transcribed, usually one to two weeks after the live event. A translation of the recording transcription in Spanish and simplified Chinese will also be available here. Be sure to check your email frequently as we will send more information about webinar dates, times and topics in future newsletters.

Family Friday

Family Friday is an opportunity for families and caregivers of incoming MSU students to talk through transitions they and their students may experience, information about books and resources, and time to talk with current MSU students and NSO staff to get answers to some of your questions.  Family Friday is the same schedule of 1pm-5pm EST every other Friday, so feel free to come as you are able, whether once for the full time, or as your schedule allows.  And, if you have questions throughout NSO, feel free to come ask us.  We are here to help you and your student with a successful transition to MSU!
