New Student Orientation (NSO) helps to transition new Spartan students into college and provides them with a strong foundation for pursuing their academic goals. The New Student Orientation Office is a unit housed under the Office of Undergraduate Education, which shares a common goal of student success. New Student Orientation centers around the students and the student experience as they transition to MSU. During our orientation program, we introduce students to the MSU community, connect them to key campus resources, and prepare them for academic success.
