Welcome to the New Student Kick-Off, an exciting event to launch Fall Welcome and the academic year, uniting new students in a thrilling Spartan celebration! All new students are required to attend this welcome event, designed to highlight important transition elements as you prepare for Fall Welcome and university life. Embrace the spirit of MSU as you interact with the University President and Provost, connect with Sparty, the MSU Mascot, rally with the marching band, cheer, and dance team, meet your Orientation team captains, and so much more! Please note, bags are not permitted inside of the Breslin Center for this event. Doors open at 5:30pm, Spartan Games start at 6 pm, and a pre-show spirit rally begins at 6:30pm.
